Radu Drăgușin (23 years old) receives excellent news in England.
Severely injured in the knee, Drăgușin is nearing the end of his recovery period, and Thomas Frank, Tottenham’s coach, has spoken about his situation.
Asked if Tottenham will sign another central defender, the coach stated that it is not necessary, indicating that he will give Drăgușin a chance to show what he is capable of when he is fit to play again.
Competition for the central defender position is tough, however: "We currently have three available central defenders: Micky (van de Ven), Romero, Danso.
Ben Davies can play there if needed. We have Kota (Takai), the young central defender we signed this summer, who will start training with the team next week. And then, Drăgușin will return in a few months, so I think that's enough," said Thomas Frank, as quoted by the British.
Radu Drăgușin got injured in February, during a Europa League match.
He is under contract with Tottenham until 2030.
