Radu Drăgușin has undergone surgery

Radu Drăgușin (23 years old) underwent surgery after a serious knee injury suffered in the Tottenham – Elfsborg 3-0 match, in the Europa League.

Florin Manea, Radu Drăgușin’s agent, provided new updates on Radu Drăgușin’s condition after the injury.

He revealed that Drăgușin underwent surgery on Tuesday, February 11, and the doctor gave him news regarding his return to the field: he will be able to play again for Tottenham in "6-8 months."

However, Florin Manea stated that Radu Drăgușin will push for an early return to the field.

"This morning he had surgery. (...) We hope everything will be fine, I don't think it won't be. He was working on the injured leg, doing gym work, hoping for a quicker recovery.

The doctor said it will take 6 to 8 months before he can play. We are trying to catch the training in July and have him play in August. The initial moments after the injury... didn't sit well with him. We are by his side, he has people who love him and he understands that it's part of life, something he must overcome," stated Florin Manea, Radu Drăgușin's agent, according to Fanatik.

Radu Drăgușin had become a starter at Tottenham at the time of the injury. He had played 22 consecutive matches in the starting lineup.
