Romanian forward Louis Munteanu, currently playing in the United States for the American team D.C. United, played the full 90 minutes in his team’s 1-1 draw against St. Louis City at home.
He could have even been his team’s hero in extra time, when he scored in the dying moments of the game. Following a free kick, Bartlett crossed the ball back into the box, and Louis Munteanu, from two meters out, chested the ball into the net.
However, the referee was alerted by the VAR room and went to the sidelines to review the play. It was evident that Bartlett was offside before making the crucial pass to the Romanian player who was nurtured by Hagi's academy.
