Free from a contract for some time, after parting ways with the Turks from Bodrumspor, who are now in the second league, George Pușcaș is being courted by a Romanian coach abroad.
Pușcaș, 29 years old, could end up in the Gulf, where he is wanted by a Romanian coach, as announced by the portal iamsport.ro.
With 11 goals scored in 46 national team appearances, Pușcaș is close to signing with Baniyas, a team in the top division of the United Arab Emirates, where he previously played alongside Andrei Burcă. There, Romanian coach Daniel Isăilă is in charge, a former coach of Pușcaș in the Romanian U21 youth national team.
Isăilă is in his third term there as a coach, and he has come to the conclusion that George Pușcaș could be useful in achieving the team's goals. It could be the first experience outside Europe for the Romanian, who has previously played for clubs in Romania, Italy, England, and Turkey.
Valued at €1,100,000 by Transfermarkt specialists, Pușcaș has not played for the national team for over a year, as he is no longer part of Mircea Lucescu's plans.
