Denis Drăguș (27 years old) has changed his mind regarding leaving Turkey, from Trabzonspor.
The Turkish press claims that, at this moment, there are no negotiations for Drăguș’ departure or contract termination, as he is determined to stay and fight for his chance at Trabzonspor.
The Turks argue that Drăguș "completely rules out" the possibility of leaving at this time.
"Not a separation, but a fight! Denis Drăguș, determined to stay at Trabzonspor. Statements regarding discussions about terminating Denis Drăguș' contract, whose future at Trabzonspor remains uncertain and there are rumors of him leaving the team due to the number of foreign players, are false.
Currently, no separation or contract termination process has been initiated for the Romanian footballer Denis Drăguș, who still has 2 years left on his contract with Trabzonspor.
Drăguș is quite satisfied with the training facilities, salary, and living conditions offered by Trabzonspor and, for these reasons, completely rules out the possibility of leaving. The player is determined to fight for a spot in the starting team, which is his main priority.
He would only consider a transfer if an attractive offer emerges that fully meets all conditions and salary requirements," noted the Turkish press.
FCSB Offers Him a One Million Euro Salary, Drăguș is Also Wanted by Marius Șumudică at CFR Cluj
FCSB has been courting Drăguș for a while now, but they can only transfer him if he becomes a free agent. The red and blue team has promised him a salary of one million euros.
In addition to the salary, the owner of the Romanian champions has prepared a bonus of 500,000 euros for Drăguș. The money is expected to be received if FCSB qualifies for the UEFA Champions League group stage.
However, recently, Marius Șumudică signed with CFR Cluj, and the transfer of Drăguș is one of the coach's targets. Nevertheless, Șumudică admitted that the chances of Drăguș returning under his command are slim.
Denis Drăguș arrived at Trabzonspor in 2024, but he did not establish himself, and last season he was loaned to Eyupspor and Gaziantep.
