Andrei Rațiu (27 years old), the right-back of the Romanian national team and Rayo Vallecano, has made a decision about his future.
Although there has been a lot of speculation about a potential transfer from Rayo Vallecano to another team, Andrei Rațiu ultimately decided to stay with the Madrid team and will play in the Conference League.
Journalist Jonay Amaro quotes a statement made by Andrei Rațiu, in which the Romanian player has determined his future: "It will be a season where my name and that of my teammates will be remembered for many years to come. I hope we perform at our best. I would like us to reach the final of the Conference League," said Andrei Rațiu.
Therefore, Rațiu will remain at Rayo Vallecano for at least one more season, as he has a contract with the club until 2028.
He has a release clause of 25 million euros in his contract with Rayo Vallecano.
