Alessandro Altobelli (70 years old), the former legendary football player of Inter, made a statement full of sincerity towards Cristi Chivu.
The former striker was asked about his opinion on Cristi Chivu, and Altobelli did not hold back.
A World Champion with Italy in 1982, Altobelli believes that the Romanian Chivu will live up to expectations.
"Everyone was worried, Chivu was coaching Parma, they didn't know if he would meet expectations or not. Finally, I read that he is a good coach. He fights, he is a coach who can win, he knows football. He understands football, everything is about succeeding in getting into the players' heads," said Alessandro Altobelli, quoted by the Italian press.
Altobelli scored 209 goals in Inter's shirt, in 465 matches played between 1977 and 1988.
