A message posted by Sorin Grindeanu on Europe Day sparked a festival of pro-Bolojan and, in some places, pro-USR comments on the Facebook page of the PSD leader.
Sorin Grindeanu emphasized that the PSD played a decisive role in Romania’s accession to the European Union and stated that the party would remain firmly committed to the country’s European path. He stated that, for social democrats, „Europe means work and results,” not just political statements, and indirectly accused other political forces that, although declaring themselves pro-European, would try to hinder Romania.
Grindeanu argued that PSD governments aimed at increasing incomes, protecting the economy, and attracting European funds, considering these results "concrete and undeniable."
At the same time, Ilie Bolojan tells us on Europe Day that we have a choice: a community of rules, work, and freedom, or a system based on privileges, obedience, and injustice.
In the first hour since its publication, Grindeanu's post already has over 1,200 comments, mostly in appreciation and support for Ilie Bolojan's measures, USR ministers, or condemning the PSD-AUR alliance for toppling the government. These comments already have hundreds of likes as well.
Some internet users have noticed the "act of courage" that Sorin Grindeanu left the comments open on this post.
