The organizers of the already famous events Untold (Cluj) and Neversea (Constanţa) announce that they have signed a partnership with Bucharest City Hall, for a mega-festival that will take place annually at the National Arena, starting this summer.
„Starting from the year 2025, Bucharest will host a new large-scale project bearing the signature of the creators of Untold and Neversea, two of the most appreciated festival brands worldwide.
The new project will be a festival that will grow year by year and will put Bucharest on the international map of entertainment attractions worldwide, just like it happened with the previous projects of the Untold group.
Through a strategic partnership with the City Hall of the Capital, the organizers aim to hold the first edition this summer at the National Arena, ensuring festival lovers that this project in Bucharest will also benefit from all the experience and vision accumulated by Untold Universe over the past 10 years of experience in the country and abroad," the company announced in a statement sent to Spotmedia.ro on Thursday.
There have been discussions for several years about this new project in Romania, during which the Untold organizers have had repeated working meetings with Nicușor Dan, the Mayor of the Capital, to find the best solutions.
The outcome of these discussions led to the signing of a collaboration protocol over several years, through which the Untold group will create from its own funds a festival concept, with international artists, which will grow in scale year by year, becoming a new attraction for Eastern Europe.
“The festival we will develop at the National Arena this year will be organized to the standards with which the Untold group has already accustomed both fans and partners over the past 10 years of activity, respecting all current regulations. Furthermore, the festival will also provide a significant financial contribution to the economy of the city of Bucharest, both through the taxes and fees generated by the event, and through the business opportunities that will arise around this ecosystem, every year,” says Bogdan Buta, founder & CEO of Untold Universe.

The Mayor Nicuşor Dan highlighted the opportunity for Bucharest, both economically and culturally and touristically.
"An event of this caliber will attract tens of thousands of visitors from the country and abroad, which means significant benefits for the HoReCa industry, transportation, commerce, and services," explained the mayor.
"Successful festivals in major European capitals have already demonstrated that such initiatives contribute to strengthening the city's image and to the development of tourism,” emphasized Nicuşor Dan, also quoted in the press release.
However, this is not the first entry of the Untold Universe organizers into the events market in Bucharest, as they have been organizing for three years the "West Side Christmas Market" in Drumul Taberei Park, together with Sector 6 City Hall.
