Over 10,000 families in Romania will install solar panels

Over 10,400 families in Romania will be able to install photovoltaic panels and energy storage systems starting Wednesday. The Environmental Fund Administration (AFM) has published today, April 2, a new list with their files, approved by the Approval Committee within the Green House Photovoltaic Program, AFM informs.

„We are taking another important step towards the green transition, and AFM continues to support households nationwide through non-repayable financing. Starting today, over 10,400 families will be able to install photovoltaic panels and energy storage systems through the Green House Photovoltaic Program,” stated Florin Bănică, the president of AFM.

According to the source cited, in the following period, the remaining files related to the 2024 session of the same program will also be approved.

The funding provided within the Green House Photovoltaic Program is a maximum of 30,000 lei for the purchase and installation of a photovoltaic panel system and an electric energy storage installation produced from renewable sources, with the beneficiary's own contribution of 3,000 lei.

The list of accepted files within this program is published on the www.afm.ro website, in the section related to the Green House Photovoltaic Program - 2024 session.
