Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, his office announced on Sunday.
Biden was consulted by doctors last week after experiencing urinary symptoms, and following investigations, a nodule was discovered in his prostate. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and tests showed that cancer cells had spread to the bones, as reported by AP.
"Although this is a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be responsive to hormonal treatment, allowing for effective management," his office stated.
"The President and his family are considering treatment options with the medical team," the source mentioned.
