WTA has announced the new world ranking

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) announced on Monday morning the new world rankings as a result of the outcomes recorded in the last week.

This week, Simona Halep dropped to 1146th place in the world, down two spots from the previous week.

Simona is expected to make a comeback on the circuit at the Madrid tournament, provided her medical condition allows.

In this week's rankings, Sorana Cîrstea remains at 29th place, Ana Bogdan stays at 64, while Jaqueline Cristian climbs one spot to 74.

No changes were recorded in the top 10:
