Walter Sabatini is convinced of Cristi Chivu (45 years old), the coach of Inter.
The Italian praised Chivu after the success achieved by the Romanian on Inter’s bench in the Italian Cup and declared that he is confident that he will remain on the „nerazzurri’s” bench for a long time.
Sabatini believes that the coach "has worked magic" at Inter.
"Chivu will be Inter's coach for the next five years. He has worked magic, he works with and for the club. He has righted the ship, taken on a huge responsibility, and made the players believe," said Walter Sabatini, according to the Italian press.
Cristi Chivu has a contract with Inter until the summer of 2027.
With Chivu on the bench, Inter is leading Serie A with 55 points, and the "nerazzurri" have also qualified for the semifinals of the Italian Cup.
