The Scottish press reveals details about the situation Ianis Hagi (25 years old) is facing at Rangers, a club with which he has a contract until 2026.
The Romanian international is in a tough spot after Rangers sent him to train with the reserve team and advised him to find another engagement. The Scots claim that Ianis never asked to leave Ibrox.
Hagi Jr.'s desire is to continue playing for Rangers, but the chances of this happening are slim.
"The player never asked to leave Ibrox; he wants to continue representing the club. The Romanian has been left out of the Champions League squad and is playing for the reserve team, where he is doing his job professionally. Our sources indicate that Ianis Hagi has never requested to leave Rangers," writes the website footballscotland.co.uk.
Ianis Hagi currently has no concrete offers.
He is valued at two million euros by Transfermarkt.
