The Scottish press intervenes in the negotiations between Ianis Hagi and Rangers: "They should look elsewhere"

Approaching the end of his contract with Rangers, Ianis Hagi (26 years old) has not yet signed an extension at Ibrox Park.

The Romanian international is in the final months of his contract with the team from Scotland and can sign with any team he desires, as a free agent.

The Scottish press is once again writing about Ianis' situation and highlighting his importance for Rangers since his return to the first team, but British journalists argue that the team at Ibrox Park should not spend too much money on extending his contract.

"Since returning to the first team in October, Hagi has been an important player. There is a lot of pain when it comes to his time at Rangers, but also unfinished business.

It all probably boils down to salary and playing minutes, and if Hagi and his entourage are looking for large sums of money, then they should probably look elsewhere," writes Rangers News.

Ianis Hagi has played 25 matches in all competitions this season for Rangers' first team, scoring three goals and providing seven assists.
