The Italian press praises Romanian coach Cristian Chivu after his debut in the new Serie A season on Inter’s bench, a clear 4-1 victory over Monza at Meazza.
Inter is the top contender to defend the Scudetto won a year ago, and this was evident from the first match, where Chivu’s boys dominated Monza.
Italian journalists have noticed the positive changes brought by Chivu this summer, especially on the offensive front:

Since the Romanian took charge of the Nerazzurri, they have scored 124 goals in all competitions.
Chivu's team scored yesterday through Calhanoglu, Zielinski, Esposito, and Bisseck. The Nerazzurri side is the favorite of experts for another title, with odds of 2.10 to one for defending last year's trophy.
