Andrei Rațiu (28 years old) is on Newcastle’s transfer list.
The English have studied the right-back of Rayo Vallecano and the Romanian national team and have given their verdict.
Journalist Harry de Cosemo believes that Rațiu is a player who would fit the needs of Newcastle. However, he argues that he would not be a starter in the "Magpies" team.
"He is slightly above the average age of the players Newcastle wants to transfer. He would be a squad player, an additional option, a backup for Tino Livramento. He is very good in the offensive phase, good with the ball at his feet, plays at maximum intensity. Rațiu would be a suitable choice. The fact that he is 28 years old is not a problem, Newcastle needs experience," says journalist Harry De Cosemo.
Aside from Newcastle, Andrei Rațiu is also wanted by Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
In the past, he has also been on Bournemouth's list.
