Louis Munteanu (23 years old) is confident that he will make a good impression at DC United in the USA.
Sold by CFR Cluj to DC United in the MLS, Louis Munteanu left Romania on Monday to undergo a medical check-up with the club in Germany.
Upon departure, Munteanu talked about his transfer and expressed his happiness, also stating that "it will be fine," and that he is confident he can make a good impression in America.
"I am very happy. (...) I am glad it materialized. It will be fine, and I will go to America. There were many discussions, some false, some true. I made the right choice, and I am happy. I have value, I have proven that. The championship is one that suits my style.
I have spoken with those who have been in the MLS before. I am going confidently," stated Louis Munteanu, according to Digi Sport.
At DC United, Louis Munteanu will sign a three-year contract, after the American club and CFR Cluj reached an agreement for the transfer in exchange for seven million dollars.
