Romanian central defender Radu Drăgușin, 22 years old, had a praised performance in the friendly match that his team, Tottenham Hotspur, lost with a score of 1-2.
The Romanian started this match as a starter and spent only 45 minutes on the field, being replaced at halftime. At halftime, Ange Postecoglou decided to substitute Drăgușin with midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Drăgușin's performance was appreciated, as he was given a high rating of 7 by the British press.
"His first start in the pre-season and he showed what it's like to have a natural central defender there, appearing stable. He only arrived at the end of last week and seemed fresher because of it," writes the press from the Island, through the football.london portal.
It was the first friendly match for Spurs this summer, with Pedro Porro scoring in the fourth minute. Goretzka and Vidovici scored for the Bavarians.
Tottenham will play another friendly match against Bayern Munich on August 10.
