American journalists have been impressed by Simona Halep’s latest decision.
Our athlete chose to play at a very small tournament in France, at Trophée Clarins, and the journalists from Tennis Tonic had a highly laudatory speech about her.
"The decision to accept the wildcard at Trophée Clarins highlights Halep's determination to regain her form and rhythm after the break. Despite failing to reach the Rome Open, Halep will remain focused on her path to recovery and sees this tournament as an opportunity to demonstrate her skills and competitiveness," noted Tennis Tonic.
Simona also confirmed her presence at the tournament starting on May 13, at the same time as the one in Rome.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to play at Trophée Clarins. Every match is crucial for me as I continue my comeback in competitive tennis. I look forward to showing my best tennis and am eager to compete against top opponents," commented Simona.
Since returning to the circuit, Simona has only played one match in Miami, and since then, she has been injured.
