Farul defeated Rapid, 2-1, on Friday, in the first round of the Super League play-offs, away.

Despite a good start, missing a great goal opportunity after Krasniqi’s shot from inside the box was narrowly pushed into the corner by Alexandru Buzbuchi, Rapid found themselves trailing to Farul in Giulesti, in the first round of the Super League play-offs.

In the 23rd minute, Grameni excellently found Louis Munteanu with a lofted pass in the box, who scored with a right-footed shot after Paul Iacob couldn't stop him. Farul also had a huge chance in the 32nd minute when, at the end of a counterattack, Ionuț Vînă was blocked by Marian Aioani inside the box.
