Ianis Hagi (25 years old) has been sidelined, sent to Rangers’ reserve team and told to look for another engagement, but the Scottish press is calling for him to join the first team.
Scottish journalists argue that, considering the recent results, Philippe Clement should reconsider his decision regarding Ianis Hagi, whom he has not included in his plans.
The rangersnews.uk website writes that Ianis Hagi should be reintegrated into Rangers' first team squad and utilized. He still has a contract with Rangers until 2026.
"Now that Ianis Hagi has more training sessions and matches under his belt, Clement needs to rethink his plans regarding him. Sent to the reserve team, where he scored a hat-trick and provided a decisive assist once, Hagi has shown why he is capable and that he is more talented than any other Rangers player in his position, an immediate improvement," the quoted source writes.
Ianis Hagi is looking for a team, considering he has been sent to Rangers' reserve team, but so far his agents have not found a team interested in his services.
He is valued at two million euros by Transfermarkt.
