The organizers of the WTA 125 tournament in Hong Kong announced on Tuesday the order of play for Wednesday, October 2, when Simona Halep will also compete.
Simona will play against Arina Rodionova (114 WTA, 34 years old) on Wednesday, October 2, on the central court of the complex in Hong Kong, not before 13:30 Romanian time. The match between Halep and Rodionova is scheduled last on the central court.
Our athlete accepted a wildcard from the organizers of the Hong Kong tournament and will return to the circuit at the Asian competition, which takes place from September 30 to October 6.

Simona Halep played her last official match in May, at the Trophee Clarins, where she withdrew due to an injury that prevented her from playing.
Aside from the match in Paris, Simona Halep also played in 2024 against Paula Badosa at the Miami Open, where she received a wildcard and was eliminated in the first round.
