Ukraine defeated Iceland 2-1 and qualified for EURO 2024, where they will be in Romania’s group.
The Ukrainians found themselves trailing 1-0 in the 30th minute, through a goal by Gudmundsson. Yaremchuk had a goal disallowed in the 39th minute, then Tsygankov equalized in the 53rd minute with a beautiful shot.
Mudryk scored the goal that secured Ukraine's qualification for EURO 2024 in the 84th minute with a beautiful shot from the top of the box.
Thus, following their victory over Iceland, Ukraine qualified for EURO 2024 and will be in Group E. Our team will start their EURO journey against Ukraine on June 17 in Munich.
