Romanian central defender Radu Drăgușin could leave the Tottenham Hotspur football team as early as this summer, and his current interest seems to be a return to the Italian league.
From where he left for Spurs, from Genoa, the British club offered 25 million euros for the Romanian in January 2024.
AS Roma, Fiorentina, and Leipzig were the teams that fought for Drăgușin's signature last winter, but for the time being, the Romanian, a regular in the national team, has agreed to stay in England. This is not likely to happen anymore from this summer when Drăgușin could be tempted to say yes to an offer from Fiorentina.
Fiorentina wants to start a team rebuilding process, guided by sports director Fabio Paratici:
"The sports director of the Viola team has already started his work, and Radu Drăgușin's name is once again on the list for the defense. This opportunity was discussed and analyzed in today's TMW podcast," writes TuttoMercatoWeb.com, which also announces that Drăgușin would like to return to Italy, where he has previously played for Juventus, Sampdoria, Salernitana, and Genoa.
Drăgușin's transfer to Florence could be completed in exchange for 20 million euros. The defender is under contract with Spurs until the summer of 2030.
