Press from Italy, announcement about the transfer of Răzvan Sava

The Italian press announced on Tuesday the transfer of Răzvan Sava (22 years old), the goalkeeper of CFR Cluj.

Răzvan Sava’s transfer to Udinese, for which there is already an agreement with CFR Cluj, is in danger of not happening anymore.

The website calcioudinese.it writes that Sava's move to Udinese is blocked by the refusal of Simone Scuffet, the former goalkeeper of CFR Cluj, to sign with AC Milan to be a backup for Mike Maignan. The transfer is part of a "domino" that will not be activated until Scuffet says "yes".

Cagliari, Scuffet's current team, wants to replace the Italian with Marco Silvestri (33 years old) from Udinese if Scuffet eventually accepts the transfer to AC Milan. Silvestri's departure would leave a vacant spot in Udinese's squad, which would be filled by Sava from CFR Cluj.

To replace Sava, CFR Cluj has reached an agreement with another goalkeeper from Italy, Mihai Popa (23 years old) from Torino, whose transfer is also currently blocked.

Raised in Italy, Răzvan Sava transferred to CFR Cluj from Torino in January 2022 and became a key player, and now he may leave to play again in Italy.
