Ionuț Radu (27 years old), the goalkeeper of the Romanian national team, is preparing to change teams.
„Reinvented” at Venezia, in Serie A, where he rebooted his career, Ionuț Radu finds himself in the position of having to look for another team.
The officials of Venezia, his current team, have other plans regarding the goalkeeper position for the next season. Filippo Antonelli, the team's sporting director, revealed that Filip Stankovic (23 years old), on loan, will be permanently transferred from Inter.
"Radu's arrival was a good opportunity for both us and him. He took advantage of this chance, proved his worth. The journey is not over: there are three more matches and it can end beautifully," Antonelli stated to Tuttomercatoweb.
Venezia's official specified: "Stankovic is a goalkeeper we have wanted for a long time, a guy who has worked very well in the first months. We have the opportunity to sign him permanently and we will, for sure. In June, he will become our player," added Venezia's sporting director.
Ionuț Radu has defended Venezia's goal in 12 matches in all competitions this season, and in four of them, he did not concede a goal.
He is valued at 2.5 million euros by Transfermarkt.
