Inter’s president is convinced he made the right choice when he appointed Cristi Chivu as coach.
Giuseppe Marotta congratulates himself on the choice made regarding Chivu, considering the recent results.
The leader of the Italian club is proud to have chosen Chivu as head coach, even though Jose Mourinho was proposed as a replacement for Simone Inzaghi.
"I am amazed that people were surprised by Cristian's talent. I chose him because he represents important values, has the courage to go against the tide, even at the media level. Someone mentioned Mourinho. With all due respect, if I hadn't had courage, I would have regretted it," said Giuseppe Marotta, according to the Italian press.
Inter is leading Serie A after 11 rounds, with 24 points.
The "Nerazzurri" have suffered only one defeat in their last 12 official matches in all competitions, against Napoli (1-3), with only victories since then.
