The transfer of Horațiu Moldovan (27 years old), the goalkeeper of the Romanian national team, has been officially confirmed.
Through the voice of Roberto Suarez, the sports director of the club, Real Oviedo has confirmed the loan signing of Horațiu Moldovan from Atletico Madrid.
The Romanian no longer fits into Diego Simeone's plans and has agreed to sign with the newly promoted team in the Spanish top league.
"We are taking the final steps to complete Moldovan's arrival. He fits into what we wanted. He is a player who has proven himself, who fights to take his country to the World Cup. We believe it is important to see hungry players willing to fight for their place," said Roberto Suarez, quoted by the Spanish press.
The Romanian goalkeeper will arrive on loan for one season, with an option for a permanent transfer.
Horațiu Moldovan is valued at 2.2 million euros by Transfermarkt.
