Cristi Chivu (45 years old), the coach of Inter, is starting to convince the Italians of his qualities.
Fabio Quagliarella, a former striker with over 180 goals scored in Serie A, has been convinced by Cristi Chivu after the recent results of the Romanian at the helm of Inter.
Quagliarella says that the Romanian was smart when he chose not to change much of what Simone Inzaghi left behind at Inter at the beginning, but over time he started to implement his own ideas.
Moreover, the former striker is convinced that the coach will quickly win over his Inter players with his ideas and playing style.
"Chivu showed intelligence. He started with what Inzaghi left behind, then put his own mark on the team and playing style. Vertical play, aggressiveness, he implements his own ideas. Even though he lacks experience, if the players understand his ideas and they yield results, they will listen to him," said Fabio Quagliarella, according to the Italian press.
Inter, Cristi Chivu's team, secured their third consecutive victory in the new Serie A season on Saturday, with a 4-1 win over Cremonese.
It was Inter's fifth consecutive victory in all competitions this season.
