Travel Alert for Greece: Transportation will be paralyzed

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) has issued a travel warning for Greece.

The Panhellenic Maritime Federation has announced a 48-hour strike from October 22 to 23. In this context, ferries and other passenger transport vessels will remain docked in Greek ports.

MAE reminds that Romanians can request consular assistance at the telephone numbers of the Romanian Embassy in Athens (+302106714035) and the General Consulate of Romania in Thessaloniki (+302310340088).

Additionally, Romanian citizens facing a difficult, special, or emergency situation can use the emergency phone numbers of the Romanian Embassy in Athens (+306978996222) and the General Consulate of Romania in Thessaloniki (+306946049076).
