Bad news for Simona Halep: Fierce competition for the Olympic Games

Simona Halep faces serious competition in hopes of achieving her major goal set for 2024.

Our athlete has expressed her intention to receive a wild card for the 2024 Olympic Games, even though she has not met the eligibility criteria.

The issue for Simona is that the competition is tough, as other significant names in tennis have also requested a wild card.

According to Tennis Up To Date, favorites to receive a wild card for the Olympic Games are Angelique Kerber and Naomi Osaka.

Simona is counting on the emotional factor and hopes to convince the ITF that she could not have had a good enough ranking, given that she served a longer doping suspension than the one decided by the CAS.
