Cristi Chivu (45 years old), the coach of Inter, had an emergency meeting with the club’s bosses and owners.
The Italian press reports that during the meeting, Chivu conveyed the urgent need for a transfer.
The coach requested a new player on the right flank, capable of covering the entire wing. Following Denzel Dumfries' injury, Inter feels the absence of an important player on the right side. "Nerazzurri" wanted Joao Cancelo, but the Portuguese player chose Barcelona instead.
The Italians assured Chivu that they will do everything possible to find a player to meet his request, depending also on the budget available.
Inter leads the Serie A standings with 49 points after 21 matches played, while their city rival, AC Milan, sits in second place three points behind.
