Tottenham is negotiating these days the departure of Radu Drăgușin (23 years old), the central defender of the team.
Florin Manea, Drăgușin’s agent, revealed that AS Roma and another team, which he did not name, are fighting for the signature of Tottenham’s defender.
Radu Drăgușin's transfer from Tottenham is set to be made for a "much higher" sum of 15 million euros.
"The sum is much higher than 15 million euros. (ed. if the transfer can be completed definitively this winter) Everything is possible. I am in London, we are in negotiations. It's not about Fiorentina, I know that AS Roma has expressed their desire to Tottenham. There is another club, I can't tell you, but not from Italy."
"First, Roma showed interest, I did not speak directly with them. I heard they sent something to the club. They need to reach an agreement with Tottenham first, then I will talk to them. We are waiting, we are here, and we will see in the coming days," said Florin Manea, according to Digi Sport.
Therefore, Drăgușin has a high chance of leaving Tottenham at the beginning of this year, two years after signing with the London team.
Tottenham paid 30 million euros for Radu Drăgușin's transfer from Genoa at the beginning of 2024.
