An Italian footballer is grateful to Romania, a country where he received a second chance in his career.
Juri Cisotti (32 years old), champion with FCSB and one of the important players of the „red and blues,” spoke highly of Romania and the opportunity he received in football after signing for the first time with Oțelul Galați in 2021.
Coming from Malta, Cisotti slowly but surely climbed from Liga 3 to FCSB, winning the championship title and participating in the Europa League.
"Romania gave me a new chance in football. I only have beautiful words about this country. I adapted. I like everything. Everyone treats me nicely, and I only have beautiful words.
(note - if he retires in Romania) I don't know what will happen in the future, but here I found a very beautiful country, beautiful football, with very beautiful stadiums. I don't know what will happen, but for now, I am here and my future is here," said Juri Cisotti, according to Fanatik.
FCSB paid 200,000 euros to transfer Juri Cisotti from Oțelul Galați at the beginning of 2025.
