Radu Drăgușin makes a statement full of sincerity after returning to the field at Tottenham

Radu Drăgușin (23 years old) reacted at the end of the Crystal Palace – Tottenham 0-1 game, after returning to the field.

Drăgușin returned after a long forced break caused by a knee injury, and he played his first minutes in an official match in the away victory against Crystal Palace.

At the end of the game, the Romanian defender talked about the moments he went through and the lessons he learned during his recovery.

Regarding the future, Drăgușin is ready to fight for his place as a starter at Tottenham in 2026.

„It was a long journey. The biggest challenge of my life! I moved forward and did what I had to do. I had people by my side who supported me, my family, my fiancée. I knew the road to recovery would be long, but I saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

I felt normal again. I missed these sensations, the atmosphere, the fans. I missed football. I couldn’t ask for more. My family was here, we won the game.

I learned to be patient, to have confidence in the things I needed to do. A big part of recovery meant doing the same things over and over again.

I hope to come back, fight for my place in the team, and have a better year,” stated Radu Drăgușin after Crystal Palace – Tottenham 0-1.
