The press in Spain announces on Monday that Barcelona has set its sights on Romanian international Andrei Rațiu (26 years old), the right-back of Rayo Vallecano.
Currently in excellent form, following an exceptional EURO 2024 for him, Andrei Rațiu could secure the transfer of his career.
According to El Nacional, through his performances, Andrei Rațiu has caught the attention of Deco, the sporting director of Barcelona. The Romanian "has become an attractive and economically feasible option."
"If everything goes according to plan, Rațiu could be one of Hansi Flick's first additions for the second half of the season," the source cited further writes.
Andrei Rațiu has played nine matches (800 minutes) in all competitions this season at Rayo Vallecano, scoring once and providing an assist.
Atletico Madrid is also interested in the potential transfer of Andrei Rațiu from Rayo Vallecano, as announced by the Spanish press a few weeks ago.
