Jurgen Klopp (57 years old) has signed a new contract and will work in football again starting in 2025.
Having left Liverpool last summer after nine years with the English team, Jurgen Klopp is ready to start working in football again, but not as a coach, as he stated that he needs a break or even considers permanent retirement.
Klopp has agreed to work as the "Head Of Global Soccer" for teams within the Red Bull group (e.g., RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, and New York Red Bulls).
Specifically, he will be the head of the football department across all clubs where Red Bull invests, with responsibilities over training sessions, playing philosophy, player development and transfers, as well as coach preparation.
"Maybe the role is different, but my passion for football has not changed," said Jurgen Klopp after signing the contract that will commence on January 1, 2025.
In his coaching career, where he has enjoyed success, Jurgen Klopp has managed the youth team at Eintracht Frankfurt, Mainz, Borussia Dortmund, and Liverpool.
