The Romanian national team made a remarkable gesture after being eliminated by the Netherlands from EURO 2024.
Romania’s national team copied a gesture made by the Japanese team at final tournaments, and at the end of the match with the Netherlands in the locker room of the stadium in Munich, they cleaned up.
The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) published images of the locker room to show that it is impeccable after the "tricolors" passed through.
Additionally, a message from the Romanian national team was left in the locker room, written in both Romanian and German.
We remind you that the Romanian national team was eliminated in the round of 16 at EURO 2024 after being defeated by the Netherlands with 3-0.
For the national team, a break is coming until September, when we will play matches in the Nations League. We are in a group with Kosovo, Cyprus, and Lithuania.
It remains to be seen if Romania will still have Edi Iordanescu on the bench. The coach asked for a few days off, and then will discuss with the FRF.
