The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), in partnership with DRUID, is launching the virtual assistant Q, a digital solution based on Artificial Intelligence, to answer the questions of those who want to learn more about stock market investments.
„This project aims to become, within approximately a year, an important and comprehensive resource with the most relevant information about stock market investments,” announced the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Virtual assistant Q can be accessed from BVB's website, is currently available only in Romanian, and is capable of answering a series of frequently asked questions:
- how to open a trading account,
- list of intermediaries,
- basic information about listed companies,
- basic stock market concepts.
The chatbot is currently in a progressive learning stage, so users are encouraged to ask as many questions as possible for it to understand their informational needs.
Being in a learning process, it is possible that assistant Q may not provide entirely accurate answers.
Subsequently, the responses provided by the chatbot will be verified by a dedicated team for accuracy and to improve the learning process.
"We continue our digital efforts to meet the needs of the local investor community in a world where rapid access to information is absolutely essential.
We aim, through this initial version of the digital solution Q, to make investment and capital market concepts more accessible and easier to understand.
The launch of Q is a new endeavor dedicated to those interested in financial education who want to learn more about savings management alternatives.
Through this virtual assistant, BVB is reshaping how users interact with financial information, paving the way for increased efficiency, automation, and growth within internal processes.
Furthermore, we are delighted to have implemented this project with the technological support provided by DRUID, a Romanian start-up that participated in BVB Arena, our flagship program dedicated to entrepreneurs," said Adrian Tănase, CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Virtual assistant Q is developed in collaboration with DRUID - an end-to-end platform for building business conversational applications based on artificial intelligence.
The collaboration between the Bucharest Stock Exchange and DRUID represents a new stage in the digitalization process of interaction with investors, already initiated at the level of the local capital market.
Q represents a clever synthesis between DRUID's NLP technology and language understanding capabilities provided by integration with ChatGPT through Microsoft Azure.
"I am pleased to see that DRUID's technology supports BVB in the digitalization process, bringing significant benefits. We aim for our solutions to streamline employees' activities, focusing on essential aspects, and to provide BVB investors with easier access to relevant information in a complex financial environment. I believe we have achieved this goal through the virtual assistant Q, ensuring a smoother and more efficient interaction," said Liviu Dragan, CEO of DRUID.
The Romanian startup DRUID is one of the finalists of the 2021 edition of the BVB Arena program, developed by the Bucharest Stock Exchange to showcase successful Romanian companies.
