Nicolae Stanciu, the man of the match in Romania’s 3-0 victory over Ukraine at the European Championship, reacted immediately after the final whistle.
Romania started EURO 2024 in a blazing manner, with a 3-0 win against Ukraine in Group E, a match in which Nicolae Stanciu scored a fabulous goal and had an impeccable performance.
At the end of the game, Nicolae Stanciu made statements about how he felt the success on the field.
"After the birth of my daughters, it's the happiest day of my life. What I experienced today cannot be repeated. It's incomparable. I want to sincerely thank these supporters. I hope I made them happy and proud.
I played for the whole country. I'm glad it worked out for me today. I said it's not important to be on the scorers' list. I just want the national team to have victories!"
Romania defeated Ukraine's national team 3-0 in the opening of Group E at EURO 2024, through goals scored by Nicolae Stanciu, Răzvan Marin, and Denis Drăguș.
