Simona Halep (32 years old) has offered new details about her latest injury, at Trophee Clarins, when she retired in the first round against McCartney Kessler.
Halep complained of knee issues, after feeling shoulder pain in her first official match of 2024, in Miami against Paula Badosa. The athlete from Constanța provided new details about her medical condition.
Simona stated that the knee injury is "serious" and explained why.
"It's serious because it swells. I need to be patient, because I'm not as young anymore. However, my joints are worn out after 20 years of sports," stated Simona Halep, according to sport.ro.
