The Scottish press drew a conclusion regarding Ianis Hagi (25 years old) after the statements he made at the end of the Romania – Bulgaria 0-0 match.
Ianis Hagi revealed that he had instructed his agents to find him „the right team and the right coach” for a transfer, statements that also made it into the Scottish press.
Journalists from The Scottish Sun drew a firm conclusion regarding Ianis Hagi and his future at Rangers, with whom he is under contract until 2026.
"Rangers' star provides a clear indication that his adventure at Ibrox has come to an end," reads the website thescottishsun.co.uk.
The Scots continued: "Ianis Hagi revealed that he told his agents to find him a team, thus confirming his departure from Rangers. The Romanian still has two years left on his contract with Rangers and is scheduled to return to Glasgow after the European Championship. (…)
It is unlikely that he will be part of Philippe Clement's plans for the next season, and Hagi seems resigned to leaving Ibrox Park," the source further noted.
Ianis Hagi played 28 matches (1032 minutes) in all competitions last season, with two goals and two assists to his name.
