The choice of owner Mihai Rotaru is Mirel Rădoi, who has previously been a coach at Universitatea Craiova.
The parties have had several discussions in recent days and are close to reaching an agreement. At this moment, Rădoi is the favorite to take over at Universitatea Craiova.
He has been promised a free hand both in terms of parting ways with players and having a say in bringing in new ones.
He was previously a coach at Craiova between August and December 2022 and left after a conflict with several players.
