Universitatea Craiova has officially presented its new coach.
Costel Gâlcă has taken over Universitatea Craiova and signed a contract valid until 2025.
He will have a monthly salary of 20 thousand euros and his objective is to win the title in the next season.
Costel Gâlcă returns to the top league after nine years, last achieving the triple with FCSB.

Constantin Gâlcă is the new coach of Universitatea Craiova. The coach has signed a contract with Știința valid until the end of the 2024-2025 competitive season, with an option for extension.
The new technical staff will also include:
Dumitru Uzunea - assistant coach
Iulian Matei - assistant coach
Ciprian Pruna - fitness coach
Constantin Gâlcă has previously coached FCSB, Espanyol, Al-Taawoun, Al-Fayha, Velje BK, Al-Hazem, and Radomiak. He has in his record a Romanian league champion title, Romanian Cup, and League Cup.
Constantin Gâlcă will lead the first training session today at the "Ilie Balaci" Training Base.
