Ianis Hagi reveals details about the tough situation he went through: "Things were up in the air"

Ianis Hagi (26 years old) revealed the tough situation he went through this summer when he was „exiled” to Rangers’ second team.

Hagi Jr. talked about the difficult moments he faced this summer after returning from his loan spell at Deportivo Alaves.

The Romanian international disclosed what went through his mind when he returned to Rangers and found out he would have to train and play with the second team.

A clause in his contract with Rangers led to Ianis' "exile" to the second team: "There are details that need to be kept between the ball, my agents, and the club (ed. - regarding the clause). During the transfer window, anything can happen. Given the situation I was in, things were up in the air. No one can deny that. (…)

I told myself that I would give my all wherever I am, whether it's with the second team, the first team, or elsewhere. I will respect football because football has given me a lot. And it's the only thing I love to do. (…) I'm here now, it's definitely good to be back with the first team, to wear the shirt and play. I love every second! It's hard when you're not playing football," said Ianis Hagi, quoted by The Scotsman.

Ianis Hagi is valued at 1.5 million euros by Transfermarkt.
