FCSB has received the response after a concrete offer made for a player from Liga 2

FCSB received a response after making a concrete offer for a player from Liga 2.

Through Gigi Becali’s voice, FCSB announced that they offered 200,000 euros for William Baeten (27 years old).

The Belgian midfielder is on FCSB's transfer list, but Adrian Mititelu, the owner of FCU Craiova 1948 - a team relegated to Liga 2 - demanded no less than one million euros to say "yes" to the transfer.

"There's no longer a question of wanting Bauza, but I want Baeten. I offered Adrian Mititelu 200,000 euros for Baeten's transfer, but he said he wants 1 million euros. I won't pay that amount. If he wants 200,000 euros, fine, if not, then that's it.

"I understand that he also spent some money on Baeten so far, but now they have dropped to Liga 2, and I think I'm offering him a good sum for him," said Gigi Becali to ProSport.

William Baeten played 35 matches (2337 minutes) in all competitions of the season at FCU Craiova 1948, during which he scored six times and provided three assists.

He is valued at 650,000 euros by Transfermarkt.
