Ianis Hagi, the midfielder for Glasgow Rangers, who recently returned to the first team after a quite long exile at the Scottish team’s reserve squad, still hasn’t found his bearings.
The 26-year-old Romanian youngster has only played in 5 matches this new season, during which he has already provided three assists, including two in the last match played by the blue and white team.
In this context, journalists from Scotland have come to his defense, with the well-known Keith Jackson taking a closer look at the Romanian's recent performances:
”He had two starts and provided three decisive passes. This is the type of player Rangers were ignoring. They weren't ignoring him, they were actually making fun of him. They belittled him,” stated the Scottish journalist, as quoted by Ibrox News.
When recently asked if he sees himself at Rangers next season, Hagi was very clear in the UK: ”I want to win. That is my goal in life in everything I do. I never take anything for granted and I don't do anything half-heartedly.”
Ianis Hagi still has a contract with Rangers until the end of May 2025.
