The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) issued a travel warning for Israel, where a general strike is scheduled for Monday in various sectors. Consequently, the activity at the Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv will be affected.
According to the MAE, on Monday, starting at 08:00 local time, strikes are expected to be initiated in various sectors of activity throughout the country for a period of 24 hours.
The protest actions will also impact the activity at the Ben Gurion International Airport in the capital city of Tel Aviv.
"Affected Romanian citizens are advised to timely inform themselves about the flight schedule and stay in touch with the airlines to receive details regarding any flight delays or cancellations. Additionally, interested Romanian citizens can consult the website of Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv at https://www.iaa.gov.il/en/," stated the MAE.

The MAE recommends consulting the websites http://telaviv.mae.ro and http://haifa.mae.ro and reminds Romanian citizens traveling abroad that, for the entire territory of the State of Israel, a level 8 out of 9 travel warning is in effect - "AVOID ANY TRAVEL!".
