British drones destroyed a bridge after a stupid mistake by the Russians (Video)

Ukrainian forces destroyed a bridge in the Russian-occupied part of the Kherson region using drones produced in the United Kingdom. It is the first military operation in which drones have caused the complete destruction of a bridge.

The targeted bridge crossed the Konka, a tributary of the Dnieper, and was considered a target of vital importance for Ukrainian forces, as reported by The Telegraph.

Ukrainian soldiers used Malloy T-150 drones manufactured in the United Kingdom to strike a bridge controlled by the enemy. The mission took place at the beginning of last year but was only revealed now.

Ukrainian forces attempted for several months to destroy the bridge using aerial attacks and HIMARS missile systems, but they failed to bring it down. The task was then assigned to the 426th Unmanned Systems Regiment.

The unit's commander, Colonel Oleksii Bulakov, stated that "bridges are relatively easy to destroy from below, but they are designed in a way that makes them extremely robust from above."

The decisive blow came after a Russian soldier posted photos of the bridge's internal structure. This allowed Ukrainian engineers to identify vulnerable points, after which Ukrainian forces launched precision drone attacks on key elements.

The unit carried out 30 missions over 60 days, delivering 1.5 tons of explosives and managed to compromise the bridge's structure. Then, a rocket attack delivered the final blow.
